Mac Pro

For all you people looking for new desktops, it's definetly worth looking at the new Mac Pro released yesterday.

Specs?

Any configuration comes with 4 processors - Two Dual-Core 64-Bit Xeons (At 2, 2.66, and 3 Ghz), Has up to 16 GB of ram, Can be configured with a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, an ATI Radeon X1900 XT, or a NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500, has 4 Serial ATA Hard Drive Slots, and of course, since it's running Intel Processors, can dual-boot both Windows XP and Mac OS X. It's being labelled as the fastest, most configurable Mac ever. The best thing about it is that you can get one as cheap as $2181 (with education discount) - which is quite a bargain for a quad-processor workstation. Check out Dell's considerably less sleek Precision 490 and 690 models if you don't believe me.

Also, check out the intrepid Steve Jobs (and his not-so intrepid assistants) unveil all this cool shite at the WWDC (Worldwide Developer's Conference) in San Franscisco.

Ok I'm done being geeky for today.

Not likely Harj - as I said, these were released yesterday. He likely had a Power Mac G5 which looks the same but is definetly not the same inside. If it has one optical drive slot then it's an older G5.
