Adobe Evangelist...

So I was at Adobe MAX learning from the master gurus at Adobe about where they hide that button that animates all your scenes for you with perfect believability, and that one button that will do perfect drawings for you, when I was introduced to my first Adobe Evangelist.

I have no idea why they call them evangelists, as it seemed a silly name, but I felt he was probably important so I sketched him down while he was explaining how gamma and chroma points were important to set on your monitor. Unfortunately, there was no tablet.

Only a mouse.

I don't know his name, unfortunately, so he'll just be the evangelist forever more.

And no, I never did find either of those buttons that they were talking about.

You can always tell it's an animation student....

I just noticed today that I went over 200,000 hits - when did that ever happen? And why?

Thanks much for all the visits! The film is due up real soon which means I shall be free from its shackles in a short time. Until then, expect a post drought.

For those wondering about my progress, more than half the film is fully composited at this point... and the rest is either colored, in need of coloring, or in need of cleanup, in that order. I'm pretty sure the rest of this work will be over by the end of the week, because all in all, the work left is around less than 10 shorter scenes.

If I wasn't in Animation, I would be in film. I'm an absolutely huge movie geek/buff/fan/whatever you call it

I'm posting about this because I'd very much like to know if any of you would have any suggestions for films to screen this year - either films that you really like but don't think others have seen (but should see), or a film that you just cannot find but have always wanted to see.

Sketchcrawl 14

Hey there, attended the 14th somewhat-monthly Sketchcrawl, L.A. Chapter today. Sketchcrawl was started by the Pixar story artist Enrico Casarosa. Basically, people meet and draw all around the world. Check out the Sketchcrawl blog and the SketchCrawl Forums for more info.

Finally starting to get closer to where I want with the watercolors...

Best of all, though, is that there's still 30 minutes left in this day to produce more stuff!

Subway Sketching

Just some sketches I did at Bobby Chiu's Subway Sketching thing with Sarah, Marceline, Jordan, and Guillaume. Was a whole lotta fun.

I would definetly recommend it to anyone dealing with strikes and stuff. Or maybe go to the zoo. I suggest that too.
